Today I bought a second hand camera,I went into town to buy my wife a card for tomorrow and walked passed a new second hand electronic shop and saw a canon 5 d for sale,I couldn't resist it £350,it came with cables Charger and two batteries ,2 year warranty.anyway I've taken some photos and they are great,I wanted it as back up to my canon 7d mkii,
When did they first come out,it's in immaculate condition

If it's the original 5D, then they first came out in late 2005 and they were in production until late 2008. Plenty of life left in it yet.
 
Seems very sharpe but had to get use to its slow focus after using the 7d mkii.
 
Hi again,I want to buy a pancake lens for my 5d and I am wondering what they are like without IS.
 
I use a 40mm f2.8 - focus is ok in available light.

focal length is good - between a 35mm and 50mm
