Can anyone help studio lighting

a few people on other forums have bought from these guys

MR STUDIO ONE

want a good studio light kit for my home then a few years down the line to expand to a Proper Studio setup eventually ie garage etc.

saw this can any one make any recommendation

have also been looking at the Bowens Esprit Gemini 250WS 2 Head Standard Kit and Elinchrom BX400/BX400 Kit

I wouldn't go for continuous lighting if you are looking to photograph live subjects as they get quite hot,but if you must then a set of work lights and stands from B&Q will do the same job for about 300 quid less

I'm serious, you can use the 500w worklights from B&Q, just because it doesn't say "photography" or cost £300 doesn't mean it's no good......

you could always just get one flash light with soft box and start with something like this..

alot cheaper than getting lots of lights but can still be effective..

Just replacing my continous stuff with flash heads. If you really want continous then I've got about 3000 watts of FocusDIY site lighting to get rid off! Has worked a treat for me over the last year or so.....
