Can anyone tell me if this Leica Sumilux 50 1.4 is a ROM or not?

Hi,

Can anyone in the know tell me if this is the 'ROM' version of this lens or not?

The ROM version is the one with electrical contacts. Both versions were produced at the same time.
This lens was produced in 1997 and seems to be an RII

Lens no 3798085 is a ROM version, scroll down- last pic for front of lens.

The only way to tell, I think, is to look at the rear of the lens
