can lightroom 3 or cs5 do this for me?

Here is a question that may have an obvious answer but hey the only stupid question is the 1 not asked.

Can LR3 or CS5 add a number to an image automatically, say i have a folder of jpegs & i want to add a number into the corner of each of them, so I can use text tool to type 001 in corner of first & then it will batch them adding the numbers in sequence to all others in that folder:shrug:

Just thinking this could save me a huge amount of time while making proofs for clients.

I know you can alter the file name on export so maybe that tied in with one of the border tools?

Yeah I found the filename change in export, will have to have a further play, i have searched in on tinterweb but it just goes of on mant tangents & never really answers the question:bang:

I suspect you could do it using the Mogrify plugin. I use it to put exif data onto the image, but you could put on the file name or some other identifying number that's available.

It's an export plugin.
