We have a poorly Canon EOS 400d which requires a new LCD screen and asociated board, and the bit to make the flash work again. I'm not technically minded so I'm not sure what is required - that's the other half's department 
The camera got doused by a wave on holiday and decided it didn't like getting wet and refused to work. Canon say it's beyond repair and sent it back to us (minus all the body work screws), but him indoors has got it working again after a fashion - it will power up and take photos OK but you can't see the screen and the flash won't work. Can't find the required bits anywhere so thought I'd see if you chaps could help. Worry not though, the nice insurance man gave us a lovely EOS 450d as a replacement which is a great piece of kit and is going nowhere near the beach!!!!
