Cannon lens

hi ruth hope your well. just wondered if i could pick your brains. i bought my boy a canon 600d last year. then last night i dropped it on its lens. ive gotta get him a new lens and id like to upgrade it a little. what wold you recommend? thanks chick xx

Hi, it all depends on what the kit lens was that needs replacing and what the boy takes pictures of!!

Maybe look at one of the 18-200mm superzooms either Canon or the Sigma/Tamron versions in Canon fit.
As above it would help to know what it's mainly used for, I guess an 18-55 kit lens got broke.

As above, was it the kit lens (18-55IS) that was dropped ?

Also what is the budget, new or 2nd hand ?

I'd e-mail them back and try to find out more information - presumably the lens cannot be fixed and the body is okay ...
