Got a call from a friend seeing if I fancied an outing so he could test his new 70-200 L. I wasn't really with it tonight, first proper outing with the 70-300 apo and I wasn't getting many keepers, not sure wether it was down to lighting or just me using the wrong settings again.
C+C welcome

Spelling is fine!

HPP is notoriously difficult to get decent shots at - the mass of concrete, horrible coloured water, too many gates and (today) the wind make it really awkward. That said - I reckon you've not done a bad job. I like No 3 the best - nice sharp face but the blurred water gives you a sense of movement. Nice!

Biggest piece of advice I could give is to try and get even closer and isolate the paddler so you dont get that horrible concrete! I try to concentrate on the expressions when I'm there.

Gimme a shout if you spot me - blue helmet with a bulldog airbrushed on the back!

Just to let you know, the british freestyle team will be there sat and Sunday for a training session. These guys are among the top boaters in the world so the opportunity for good action shots is there. I'll be about as I am doing a little bit of coaching. Gimme a shout and say Hi!

The subjects appear dark in a number of them, does anyone know a way to rectify this?
