Canon 135mm f/2 used with teleconverters

Hi

Does any body have any experience with the Canon 135mm f/2 used with either the Canon x1.4 II or x2 II teleconverters. I'm especially interested to hear how IQ compares to the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM.

I mainly shoot portraits and landscapes and only occasionally use the 70-200mm for my kids sports days, rugby matches etc. So I'm not using it a hell of a lot at the moment.

I just wondered if the IQ of the 135mm with teleconverters would be ok, so I could free up some funds. I don't have either of the teleconverters and just wondered if anyone had any experiences they'd be prepared to share
