canon 15mm 2,8 fisheye

Hi Michael

I use this on both 7D (when I had it) and now a 60D body. On a crop camera it really does not give crazy distortion such as you see on FF bodies. It has a bit of a noisy AF motor (old generation) but yields great images (sharp and contrasty). I use it mainly for REALLY tight shots ar weddings and gigs. So long as you do not use this lens for everything it can give some uniqe images. Some of my favourite shots were taken with this on the 60D.

I agree with Gary43. I've had a little play with one and it gives the fisheye effect with the addition of auto-focus. The autofocus is on the same noise level as a kit lens in my opinion. I'm using a 500D and it produced wonderfully crisp images, you can slightly see CA in the very far corners when doing landscapes and wide shots of buildings etc but other than that. It's a fantastic lens, I'd definitely recommend!

Sorry to ask a question on somebody else's thread but do you have any of the gig shots to look at. i am after a fisheye for gigs (on a crop) and but am not sure what to go for.

You'd be better off with the 10-22 on a crop.
