So I have the above lens, I tend to use it for landscape photography. I have just noticed that the MF-AF switch housing has come away from the body.

The connector is still attached, so it kind of just hangs loose from the body.

I think it has been glued in the past as I have noticed glue marks around the area, and it does not like to select the MF function.

The lens still works fine and auto focuses, the manual focus and zoom rings also still function.

I contacted Fixationuk; but was told parts were no longer available for this lens.

Any ideas on other companies, that people have used I could approach.

I don't really want to re-glue the part, and ideally would like to be able to select MF again.

The part # is CY1-2702 and it is a push fit assembly with a small clip at each end....probably the part that has broken on yours. I've searched through all the usual places to find one but they seem to have run out of stock some time ago.

So not great news for my lens then. Pity, if the MF-AF switch still selected MF I would be tempted just to glue it back on. But would prefer a new switch.
