It looks like my 24-70 brick is playing up after years of service. It’s popping up an error 01 and looks like the aperture blades stuck stopped down where it was set at f/8.
Not yet sure if it just doesn’t like the 5D mk IV (I need to pop it on the mk I just to check) but it looks like it’s in for trip to Canon.
Fingers crossed it’s a reasonable repair, as I‘ve just seen the going rate for a 24-70 f/2.8L II lens!
