Canon 24-70L 2.8 IS.......

Am I missing something??

I did see it rumoured some place recently?

The lens on the Canon UK site is not built with 'IS' and that ad says it has 'IS'

Simples!

or is it?????

So the only problem is the use of IS?
I have an EF 24-70 f2.8L lens, as shown in the picture.

Could it be replacing the 24-105 f2.8 IS L ? I can't find this lens on the Canon site. Is it discontinued?

I didn't see it at first either
completely forgot the 2.8 L glass wasn't IS

EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM - Standard Zoom from when you follow the links

The 24-70 2.8L has been around a while now and is due for an upgrade and it is not so unbelievable that it will use some IS technology. This is just a typo but I foresee this being a reality in the not so distant future...

A shame it is a typo. If Canon released 24-70 2.8L with IS, I would have bought it immediately.

It's been rumoured since I got into photography around 3(?) years ago.

Raymond Li I bet you won't be happy if it is real, after literally just getting yours!
