Canon 28-105 L lens + extender

Does anyone know of a telephoto extender that will work with the Canon 28-105 L lens ?

Yes had a feeling that one doesnt wondered if any of the non branded ones might - pity as its an ideal lens to benefit I would have thought

If any are likely to work it would be a kenko 1.4x.

According to Kenko they are not recommended for zooms that go under 50mm. I don't know why.

likely the rear element will hit the extender!! bad news if it does **cluck** :/
