It's my 21st in September, and I'm considering upgrading to a 40D if I can scrape together enough cash from birthday and selling my beloved 350D 
If I traded in my 350D, what could I expect to get for it?
If I sold it privately, again what could I get for it? This is the route I'm thinking of going down and I think I could get a little more than I could through trading in.
I have a battery grip too- should I sell that separately or with the body?
Would the price be affected a lot by putting the 18-55 kit lens in too? I despise the lens, but if I sold it I would have to look at getting a replacement and I want the Sigma 24-70 2.8 which isn't cheap, so I'm thinking of hanging onto the kit lens until next year when I have funds. I don't really want to sell the kit lens then have a gap from 20mm to 70mm if I can't afford the Sigma straight away.
