Canon 350D sticky buttons

Occasionally I dig out the 350 for some jobs as a backup but recently I've found the set of silver conrol buttons on the back are starting to stick.

Just wondered if anyone else has come across the problem and if it's a shop repair job or a squirt with switch cleaner or something.
 
Yeh! mine do it too when I'm out and about! Put it down to the cold! Another of the little foibles (is that a word?) that this (still great) little camera has!
 
That sounds like gunk. I'd open her up for a clean.
 
Yes it does feel more like gunk than the cold altohugh the cold seems to make it worse which makes sense. Time to dig out the screwdriver I think!
