Arrrgh. I just got mine yesterday and it doesn't fit into the 1510 peli :( I aint taking its original case.. What do you carry yours in?
 
So size does matter then:)
 
i use the 1610, will take two MKIII the 400, 135,24-70, 580EX and TC's with some room to spare
 
Thats the one I sold to fracster.. theres no way I was lumping that up loads of steps :(

Need somehting in between the 1510 and 1610 but no idea what would fit the 400
 
thats the standard one for the 400 (that i've seen anyways), you be used to lumping it up stairs after a few games carrying the 400

It has never been out of the house mate, I used it for home storage, wife bought some new furniture so it is surplus to requirements now.

it deffo doesnt fit in the 1510 but the 1610 is scarey big... some places I go it needs carrying.. I can carry one but that? wouldnt fancy carrying that far at my age and condition.. ie old and fat haha :)

But it might be a case of needs must...
 
If you don`t fill it up Tony, it ain`t that heavy and that little...:eek:... 400 F2.8 will sure be safe in there.

Your call, it is here doing nothing and isn`t going anywhere just yet.
