Hi folks, sorry for the dumb quesiton.....

Just gone from a Canon 350D to a 40D, noticed there was no ISO100 on it.....apparently this can be used if you disable some tonal enhancement (or something) feature. What are the merits of this feature at 200 vs 100 without it?

Did a search but could not find anything. Any advice appreciated.

You're on about Highlight Tone Priority... It's a waste of time and restricts you to a base ISO of 200. Go into the menus and turn it off and you'll find you'll be able to drop back to ISO100. :)

yes thats it, ok if its not of benefit then yes will do as I like to shoot ISO100 where I can.

Thanks for the speedy reply.
