canon 40d vs 1ds mk1

ok i currently have a 40d and am looking to upgrade to full frame, would i notice any image quality between the two or not? im about to put the 40 up on ebay and want to know if i would notice the difference or not, cheers
 
Don't know the answer to the question mate but sell the camera on here. Better quality of customer !!!
 
Phil it doesn't take long to build 100 posts. I sit in work all day and some times i'm not on here for days and i have built up 600 +. It's a great forum to be on.
 
What's your budget going to be? I'm just wondering if you can pick up something better than the 1DS mk1.

1D is 1.3x, not FF. It is still a good camera nevertheless, but a bit pricey.


There is also 5D mk1 at your price range, with better ISO.
 
Depends what you want to take images of ?

The canon 1d MKII is a good compromise between the extreme 1.6x crop and full frame and £750 about right pricewise. The N version going for between £900 - 1200
