Hello everyone,
I am looking for the best option for travelling as light as possible when taking camera kit on holiday.
I have narrowed my options down to 2;
Either 1) buy a 18/55 IS kit lens for my Canon 450D (this will be lighter than my existing set-up), or 2) invest in a Canon G11 or S90.
I will be shooting RAW most of the time. Assuming conditions are favourable (i.e. decent light, ISO 100/200 etc), does anyone have any first hand experience as to whether I will see much difference in image quality between the 2 options? I am not too worried about high ISO performance, low light, etc.
