Do you mean Portrait picture style or you were holding the camera at 90°?
Is the grey square semi transparent or opaque (ie can you see the image behind it).
When you say when you crop it is ok do you mean when you zoom in?

Definitely not visible when you take pics when the camera is in its normal orientation?

I've worked it out it's the box were the amount of pics left on memory card when you shoot in portrait the image moves But all the information boxes Don't

Lol. As long as you've sorted it. I haven't got that enabled in preview I don't think.
