CANON 5D MARK1

Managed to pick up a second 5d yesterday, serial number starts with 930709** can anybody tell me from this the year of manufacture?

The serial numbers weren't specifically related to a date but there's every chance that the date code might be stamped inside the battery compartment.....remove the battery and look down to the area where the contacts are. The code, if there, will be a similar format to the earlier lens date codes....two letters followed by four numbers.
