Canon 5d mk 2 fault

hi all, has anyone had an issue with a Canon 5d mk 2 where you go to take a photo and it doesn't but puts on the rear screen the shutter cleaning sign (as with the attached picture) instead. it happens mostly when i am using a multi shot action.... say bracketing (which I usually only get 1 or 2 out of the 3 I have set it for) or trying to capture a moving subject.

i would take it directly to a camera shop but cant seem to get through to my local one
