Picked up a 5D MK2 with cracked plastic and a error code so want to send it away for a repair. I've used fixation before for a Lens repair but if there is anyone else then would be cool to have a link.
 
Best to call around. You'll get varying prices from different people. Have a look on Canons website for details of their repairers.
 
Canon Elstree does a great job and offers a very quick turnaround. Cost, if you are out of warranty is pretty reasonable too from what I can see on their tariff card. I wouldn't take or send mine anywhere else.

I've used Fixation to repair bodies before and was pleased with the service.

Having said that I'm sure any of the Canon authorised places will do a good job.
