Canon 5D Shutter in slow motion

Am not surprised about the mirror, there is a lot of energy to disapate, letting it bounce lets it go relatively naturally (into the spring and such). The curtain though I was surprised at.
The 50d looks so much smaller in comparison!

wow, whats that above the mirror buffer in th 50d that bounces like hell? the rest all have a solid bit up there, but the 50d whatever it is, the whole thing reverberates.

Canon F1 movement is sexy, why don't digi's have an eyepiece cover?
