it's a little chip in the paint, does it matter?
I've owned many canon bodies and they all show some rubbing there, it just depends on how it is stored and transported.
Not really, but I'm a little bit surprised. My 400d (which has had a hardish life) has no marks on it. I guess I'm concerned that other problems may start to occur.
I'm fairly sure mine has rubbed in exactly the same place... not sure where it could have happened.
i do wish that someone would make a leather case for SLR camera's, like the old school mobile phone cases. would stop the cameras black finish from rubbing off and provide extra grip.
