Canon 600D and kit lens for sale query

Hi,

I am going to be selling my Canon 600D and 18-55mm lens, which are both in mint condition. I only bought it a few months ago and possibly only have taken about 600 shots with it. Recently, bought a Nikon D7000 from a friend of mine, so that is the reason for the change.

I paid £510 for the body and lens, so any ideas on how much I should sell it for?

Also, how to go about selling it to and to whom (eBay, shop etc)...

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

I recently swapped my gripped 60D and cash for a 7D on here, I was thinking about putting it for sale if I couldn't arrange a swap though. I paid aroud £650 for the kit I had and was going to advertise it for £500. It was under 6 months old, so still in warranty, and was in excellent condition but there was no lens.

Working out a similar ratio for cost to sale price you should be looking at somewhere around £390-400 for my best guess. Not sure what criteria you need to access the classifieds section on here but if you can access it, I would start with an ad on here. The main problem with ebay is the fees, you'll lose around £40-50 alltogether with listing, selling and Paypal and you wont get a great deal from a second hand dealer like Cash Converters. Good luck with your sale.
