Canon 60d - sensor marks

I think there's too much detail to see the marks clearly.

When checking for sensor contamination I do the following.

Set the aperture to the smallest the lens can do, f16? f32?
Set the focus to manual and set it to infinity.
Set the ISO to some low setting like 50 or 100.
Take a picture of a white door or some other white surface making sure that the shutter speed is into seconds, maybe 3 or 4 is a good start.
While you are taking the picture move the camera about.

Doing these things should ensure that no detail in the surface being photographed is recorded and that any blobs and marks in the final image are actually on the sensor not the surface being photographed.

Once you've established that there is contamination on the sensor the first thing I'd do is give it a blast with a Rocket blower and then run the internal sensor shake/clean again and then repeat the above process. If there is still contamination the next thing to do is a wet clean with a sensor swab.
