Canon 70-200 F2.8L IS is on its way :)

was debating whether to spend this much money on a lens and then i saw the outcomes, it was a must.

cant wait to get it and start geting more pictures

Going to purchase the 5DII next week when i get paid

What 70-200 F2.8 IS are you getting? Remember the mk2 came out a while back.

Geting the MK1, ive been looking up what the differences are and couldnt really see myself spending a few more hundred to get the MK2 when they are the same. if you know what i mean?

I think the mk2 is supposed to be far superior Ashley but the mk1 was canon's top 70-200 up till a few months ago so must still be a great lens. Good luck with your new kit.

This annoys me! MK2 pfft

will have to just have the MK1 for the time being, Still its a massive upgrade from the 18-55mm kit lens on the 1000d.

I use a mk1 on my 5Dmkii and love the results, it's a combo that just makes you want to use it. Here are a couple of mine with that set up...

they're both shot at f2.8, the top one is at 115mm and the bottom one at 200mm. I got this lens in May and it's been my most used lens since then, I love the combination of sharpness and shallow DOF when shooting at f2.8

this was my first ever L lens. Absolutely beautiful. I think every Wedding tog will have this in their kit. Its awesome for portraits and the AF just snaps onto everything you point it at. The IQ will definitely do the 21mp on the 5DMK2 justice. Don't be put off by a bigger/better MK2 of this lens, its still a beauty and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
