Beginner canon 70-200 F4

Hi all hope you can help me out here. Im thinking of getting this lens canon-ef-70-200mm-f4-l-usm-lens. Its to go with my canon 450D i only have the kit lens that came with it witch are the 18-55 and the 70-250 lens.

Its a very good lens and you will probably use it more than the 70-250. 55-250?

You can pick used ones up for a good price but just watch the date code

Excellent lens, razor sharp and speedy af. You can't go wrong with it

I've previously owned the IS version and used it on a 450D as well, was worth every penny, a nice and very sharp lens.

Can't comment on it's use on a 450d but gets rave reviews on full frame.

Great lens. I'd only get rid to swap for the IS version; which is weather sealed and by all accounts a little sharper, but twice the price S/H.
