Hey all, basically, I've been using a camera belonging to my step dad, and borrowed a few lenses at different times from him. Now he has very kindly donated the camera to me after ordering a 7D.
I bought an eBay bargain Canon 28-80mm earlier this year, along with one of them cheap fisheye/macro adapters, just to try abit of macro photography And got some decent results..
Anyway, that's the only Lens I have to go with my 40D..
I've seen both of these Canon and Sigma come up sub £100 on eBay and wondered which would be the best bet..? I use the camera mostly for work (Mayors Serjeant) so portrait / scenery.
Is there another option I should look out for..? i'm swaying towards the Canon for the IS..
I've used a Tamron 70-300, Canon 50mm Prime and I borrowed his Canon 100-400 F4 for an airshow and WOW! (just out of my budget..)
Thanks all!
