Canon 7D AI Servo

Hi, anyone be able to help me. I have looked this up and have had two different results and not sure what to believe. Basically as I am new to 7D, when using AI Servo there is no red AF points or beeping. One result says in AI Servo this wont happen as constantly focusing, and the other shows the AF in red and beeping. Which one is correct? :confused:
 
AI servo will never beep as focus is never locked. If you are using multi point focus then IIRC the points that are focusing light up but on single point you get no af point focus confirmation in red either. I'm pretty sure the points are black too (been a while since I used a 7D)

Yep, no beep when using AI Servo. Also, if you have a Canon macro lens, try using that in AI Servo and watch the focusing go nuts :)
 
I believe the focus points are black but in low light then come up red, there's also a custom setting to have red all the time
