Canon 7D and marumi drf14c

Anyone got them both and have any trouble with them? I have one and used it fine on my 60D however today I tried it on my 7D and only got it to fire once. It fires fine using the test button when not connected to the camera but wont fire at all (test or shutter) when connected. Any ideas?

Had exactly the same problem and I finally sussed it out. I will try to keep this simple. At the bottom of the Marumi where it attaches to the hotshoe is a knurled nut. I found that mine did not always screw down squarely getting crossed threaded. When screwed down crossed threaded the hot shoe conatcts did not always marry up with the Marumi correctly. By being careful to check that the knurled knob was not cross threaded and then screwing it down fairly tight I got 100% functionality from them.

Thanks for the reply, turns out it was one of the pins on the hotshoe out of line by about half a mill, managed to move it over with a warm soldering iron. Working fine now.
