Canon Battery

Looking to buy a spare Canon NB-7L battery and amazed at the price! Wondering if there are good quality after market batteries which are OK, or should I stick with the branded Canon version?

I've been looking for a spare for mine (G12) for my hols, and although there are cheaper alternatives I think I'll get a Duracell.
