Has anybody any experience with this lens, I'm looking to compliment my primes with this (can't afford the 35L).

Looking to have 35 f2, 50 f1.4, 85 f1.8, 100 macro and 135L plus 12-24 Sigma, 24-70L, 1.4x and 2x converters (for occasional use on the 135L).

Thoughts?

No one got this lens or have used it in the past?

I've got it... its damn good. Nice and light, fairly sharp at f2. I'll try and find some photos from it for you.

Just bought one Ed.

Not used it much in anger yet. Did hire the 35mm f1.4 for a couple of winter weddings and it's an absolute belter of a lens. One day I'd like to be able to justify the expense of that one. In the meantime I've gone for something similar.

35mm f2, 50mm f1.8, 85mm f1.8 and 100mm f2.8 macro. Supplimentling the three zooms. Gives me some good low light options and I can use the minimal depth of field too.

I shoot on full frame and I love the angle that the 35mm gives me. Perfect for a bride and groom walking down the isle if you want to get the congregation in too.

Thanks Ali, I replied on the wrong thread though :bang:

Only thing I would say is the focus ring feels at bit loose when its in AF mode, but then being used to FTM and just plain manual lenses it's something I notice

**musn't talk Ed out of buying:bang:***
