Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L IS USM+ teleconverter

Hi anyone know if there is a teleconverter compatable with this lens? ive read the canon ones are not?

Also read that the Kenco 1.4 might be but there might be issues with the f stop?

You can put the Sigma 1.4x converter on it but it'll only work between 200mm and 300mm... Any closer than that and the internal mechanism is stopped by the converter.

I only tried it once and only took a couple of test shots. It worked fine but I don't think I'll be doing it again!
