Does anyone know what this could be down to? The camera is a mere 10 months old and his around 8/9000 clicks on it

I read a post on another site that recommended removing the battery and card and leaving it 'on' for 15 minutes so am trying this now, another said giving it a good clean should help so will try that too later

Philthejuggler will be laughing now - he visibly cringes at my camera care, if this sorts it out though I will count myself lucky and be considerably more cautious in the future
