Am considering one of these as a compact, bit bigger than I would like but I am keen on the IQ it produces.

Tried one in Park cameras, and as a specticle wearer prefer to use the viewfinder, then chimp the image after. The screen was on all the time, can it be switched so it only comes on after the exposure?

Any views on this camera, and are there any alternatives?

My current small camera is a fuji s1000fd, but the AA cells are inconvenient.

Hi, I've got one of these. Yes the display can be switched off and just have an image review after shot.

The image in the viewfinder is slightly smaller than what the sensor see's through the lens so composition can be a bit tricky.

The AF is quite slow compared to an SLR and the time between sequence shots is quite high.
Image quality is good although the small sensor size makes shallow DOF shots difficult.
