reading on the tech spec,this camera shoots uncompressed raw files as well as jpeg.I have read the in uncompressed raw you can
recover a lot more detail in the highlights and shadows.
i can't find info for the sony RX100 to see if they are also uncompressed,although the 1 inch sensor probably picks up more anyway.
Does this sound correct?
