canon ix6550 or epson 1400

Hi I'm looking at getting an a3 printer for about £200-£250 but can't decide between the epson or the canon, can anyone shed an light on what I would be better going for or any other printers around this price.

The Canon 9500 Pro II is £250 after cashback at the moment, I had the R1400 and it wouldnt work properly with an Imac.

Just trying to help, as its a well known problem with Mac's and R1400 (Colour casts)

No problems.

you'd see it on other epson printers more than likely.

macs are not as simple as PC's to get the colour right (although windows 7 sucks)

Ive got the epson and never had a problem. Fitted a permajet cis ink system, so ink bills are one less thing to worry about
