Have had one of these for years and served me well for holidays etc. However it has developed a fault. When used especially in low light the image on the LCD screen is banding, just a series of lines over the top half of the display. The captured images are the same, so it's not the LCD that's at fault, I think it's the CCD detector that's playing up.
Up until a few years ago, canon were fixing them FOC, but no longer unfortunately.
Anyone else experienced the symptoms described above, and know if it can be fixed, by whom and typical cost.
