I managed to break the plastic lugs that the eyecup attaches to on my 30D body yesterday, how stupid did I feel! I had an EP-EX15 fitted and must have caught it as it came out of the bag, I didn't even realise the lugs on the body were plastic.A few moments of abject horror, wondering how much Fixation were going to relieve me of this time! Then a stroke of genius (or something resembling it) - adhesive backed velcro!
Loop side stuck to the body round the eyepiece aperture, hook side stuck to back of the eye-cup. It sits a little proud of what it would normally but it stays attached and is perfectly usable.
I guess I'm going to remove my eyepiece extenders before I put my bodies in the bag from now on!
