canon powershot g9 at pc world

I spotted this as well - managed to get one, had to get it transferred from nearby Curry's. Looking forward to trying it out.

That's a pretty good price for what is an excellent camera. Is this offer still on?
 
I cannot find it on there and searching the PCW site brings nowt. Anyone got a direct link for this?
 
arrr rooted all round their site and found nowt. Darn it missed this one.
 
This hasn't been on their website for a while, but here's s tip that may help anyone looking for one - consider doing the following:

1. Find a Currys that has one in stock (still end of line but should be easier as still asking £300 and will not price match PCW).

2. Go to nearest PC World and ask the sales assistant to phone the Curry's store with one in stock and ask for a "G.A.". This will allow you to pay the PC World price (£169.97) but pick the camera up from Currys.

I was a bit sceptical but it works!

You could also try and get them to look on their group stock system, as it searches PCW and Currys as well as Dixons.
