At £4500 I think a mark IV is not exactly at the top of my Christmas list this year. Of course if these pesky lottery tickets have the right numbers on 'em it'd be a different story.
 
The MkIV was a bit of a dissapointment at the canon pro show. They had all the card reader doors taped up and would not let you put a card in.

The mk3 that I tried though was amazing

Canon had mounted it to a revolving turrett like you see the telescopes at the beachs so yep....no tripod :D:D:D

I was thinking the same, until I saw the RRP for the mkIV at the press launch... no chance of any cheapo MkIII's for a long time yet... maybe when MkV arrives :lol:
 
RRP isnt usualy the price a lot sell it at... I will be getting one as soon as available but a certain TP member has already spit on one of my mkIIIs that will be going :)
 
i think what adslayer means is that uptake will be slower than usual due to the mahoooooooosive price tag.

it's much, much higher than the price of the mkIII at release - which is a bit of a bummer for buyers rather sellers on the 2nd mkIII hunt.
