I know this lens is manual focus only i guess, i was wondering does the aperture mode, shutter mode still works with this lens?

I'm ok with manual focus on primes lens since I won't have to bother about zoom etc

I'd guess that aperture and manual will work but I wouldn't expect shutter priority to work as the camera wont be able to change the aperture.

The latest ZF.2 versions for Nikons have the same functions as any current Nikkor lens(other than auto focus), the previous versions do not, so no shutter priority as stated above.
