Found this just now and used it to try out my latest bargain a Sunpack GX-8R ringflash. Taken on 5DMk2 with Sigma 105 Macro 1/125 @ f16 ISO 100

Ed, I think I have found an ID for you, it looks very much like a Buff tip caterpillar to me.
