I can't seem to get my aging Epson R220 to work with my iMac so I need to find another printer that has the capability to print to CD/DVD, to be honest the Epson quality was never that good so i will consider all makes.

Any recommendations?

I have a Canon MP600 which I believe has been replaced with an MP630 and I think the photo quality and CD/DVD printing is very good, it also has two paper trys one underneath the printer and a normal feed from behind, so you can keep plain white in the bottom and feed photo paper from the back, also does printing and scanning

I have the MP610 which does a pretty good job. The only complaint I have is that the colours don't print particularly accurately on the 3rd party cds or dvds compared to proper Canon paper but it does the job well enough, particularly considering the price.

I had a similar problem with my R300 and my new Mac Book Pro. Contacted Epson support and they sent me a procedure to solve the problem. It seems to be down to the drivers that come with Leopard. The routine is basically dump ALL the Epson drivers. Run repair permissions. The load the latest drivers from the Epson web site and add the printer then. Worked a charm.

Check that updated Leopard drivers are available. I think any driver after Oct 2007 is OK but check at the Epson site. If you want I'll forward the email from Epson support
