centon 500 mm lens mirror lens

worth about £30 ish max for me, not the best quality, can get some funky bokeh but considering that they are cheap it can be worth it for a laugh just don't expect much

I have one and admitatdly its not in the best condition but even in bright sunlight the results I have had have been rather grainy and soft, also remember that its an 800mm lens on a canon cropped body.
If you can try before you buy I would do that

Its not an 800mm lens its still a 500mm lens all its means is that on a 35mm camera to get the same Field of View without cropping you would need an 800mm lens, you could put this lens on a 35mm camera and still get the same picture you would just need to crop it in first.

500mm is 500mm regardless of the camera its on

I used to have a Centon 500 Mirror about 20 years ago, like has been said above you can get some great out of focus effects especially night shots.
They were cheap as chips 20 years ago, worth peanuts now I would have thought.
