Changing light over Thames

Coming over the bridge yesterday I noticed some interesting storm clouds and light so grabbed a few photos. This one came out the best I think although it might suffer from a lack of interest in the foreground. Maybe, it would have been better to try with the 70-300 and get in closer?

Welcome to the forum! Few questions. Why Mono? Were the colours pretty poor? Also, I think your idea to get in closer with the 70 to 300 was a great one, it would allow you to focus on the most interesting aspect of the frame.
