Changing My kit

Another question... sorry lol

At the moment i own

Sigma 18-50mm 2.8-5.6 lens
Nikon 35mm F1.8 prime
Samyang 85mm F1.4
Nikon 55-200mm VR

now im thinking of getting shut off the
Sigma 18-50mm 2.8-5.6 lens
Nikon 35mm F1.8 prime

and replacing them with a Nikon 17-55mm 2.8 ED. Now the 35mm 1.8 is my fav lens it is razor sharp.... but i never really use it below f2.8. So im just wonder how the nikon 17-55mm measures up in the test for sharpness.

Ideally id like to limit my kit to just

Nikon 17-55mm 2.8
Samyang 85mm F1.4
Sigma/nikon 70-200mm (see other thread)

Is this a good idea or not?

if anybody owns a 17-55 and a 35mm prime can you give me some feedback on the sharpness of both lenses?

Although I don't own the 17-55, I think that's a great decision and I have no doubt the 17-55 is incredibly similar to the 35mm.
