Cheap / Affordable DSLR Follow Focus setup?

There's quite a lot of options, from the dfocus to the Indian 'gini rigs' on eBay.


Check out the 'cheesycam' blog, which seems to specialise in pointing out good cheap products
 
If you're after seriously cheap there are lots of people who've experimented with wristbands and handles. There's one particular model of jar opener that seems to be popular. I have a Gini follow focus and it's a very solid piece of kit. They do seem to be much cheaper when sold with a complete rig though.
